Whether you're a home buyer or seller, it's likely that you are fixated on home showings.

As a buyer, you're eager to see the list of homes you've compiled that meet your needs, hoping that one may be your next dream home. As a seller, you're eager to have your home shown, hoping that one of the people who walks through your door will be a potential buyer.

Don't Miss These Central Florida Events in August

Posted by Tim Weisheyer on Jul 30, 2015 11:24:20 AM

With the arrival of August, we're rounding out our summer season – at least the part of summer where kids and teachers enjoy their leisurely schedules with beach trips and $1 movie theater visits. Here's three Central Florida events in August that you won't want to miss...

Back-to-School Shopping Bonanza!

Okay, this isn't a real "event" per say, but with the start of the 2015-2016 school year just weeks away, many parents are gearing up for their kid's first day of school. The state of Florida offers a tax free shopping weekend every year, which includes a tax discount on back-to-school-related products from clothes to school supplies to electronics and more. This year, though, Governor Rick Scott signed a bill extending the usual 3-day tax free weekend to a 10-day tax free event. If that doesn't make it a back-to-school shopping bonanza, we don't know what does! Be sure to grab your wallet and shopping bags August 7th through the 16th to cash in on this deal.
