Back-to-School Shopping Bonanza!
Okay, this isn't a real "event" per say, but with the start of the 2015-2016 school year just weeks away, many parents are gearing up for their kid's first day of school. The state of Florida offers a tax free shopping weekend every year, which includes a tax discount on back-to-school-related products from clothes to school supplies to electronics and more. This year, though, Governor Rick Scott signed a bill extending the usual 3-day tax free weekend to a 10-day tax free event. If that doesn't make it a back-to-school shopping bonanza, we don't know what does! Be sure to grab your wallet and shopping bags August 7th through the 16th to cash in on this deal.
Summer Nights at Sea World Orlando
Included in your park admission, Sea World's Summer Nights events lets families stay later to maximize the fun. You can ride your favorite coasters under the stars, laugh along with a late showing of the all-new Sea Lion High, and enjoy special performances like "Shamu's Celebration: Light Up The Night". Each day finishes with a nightly fireworks finale and "Celebrating America" evening concerts every weekend. This event runs through August 9th, so hit it up while it's still here!
Food Truck Friday at Artegon Marketplace
