A new year means new things to do around Central Florida, even though you might just be coming off the holiday high of parties and celebrations. We've got a handful of events you won't want to miss this month. They'll help easing back into your regular routine a little more bearable and make for a great start to 2016!

  • Run your way through The Color Run Tropicolor World Tour in Orlando
You most likely have seen a friend or family member share a fun picture participating in a Color Run, or maybe you've even participated in one yourself. This year, though, whether or not you've done one before, the Tropicolor World Tour is coming to Orlando on Saturday, January 16th, and you won't want to miss it. With this run, you'll want to make sure you plan for a full day of fun. The the start line is its own pre-race party featuring music, dancing, warm up stretching, and giveaways, and a beach party is planned for when the race is done.

The Florida Key Lime Pie Company will feature an assortment of their Key Lime Pies and will include their signature "Key Lime Pie in a Cup", "Key Lime Pie in a Coconut", and Key Lime Pie by the slice. There will also be a contest for the 2016 Miss Florida Key Lime Pie, a Key Lime Pie eating contest, and the Best of Florida's Bartenders Key Lime Pie Martini and Margarita challenge. If you can't tell by now, Key Lime Pie takes center stage at this event!
