Lake County and Seminole County saw an increase in median home prices compared to August 2018, and median home prices were up significantly throughout all four counties compared to this time last year. Lake County experienced the biggest increase in median home price with a 9.8% increase compared to September 2017, followed by Seminole County with a 9.2% increase year over year. All four counties saw double-digit increases in closed sales compared to August 2017. Osceola County saw the largest increase in closed sales year over year with a 36.3% increase, followed by Lake County with a 25.6% increase in closed sales compared to September 2017. There are plenty of homes still on the market with Central Florida having 10,429 active listings.
