3 Central Florida Events You Won’t Want to Miss in April

Posted by Tim Weisheyer on Apr 1, 2016 2:09:07 PM

Spring is officially here, the flowers are blooming and the weather has warmed up to pretty perfect temperatures as far as us Floridians are concerned. Wouldn't you agree? These three things make it a great month for getting outdoors and enjoying the local events in Central Florida in April. Don't forget! The Epcot® International Flower and Garden Festival that we shared last month is still in full swing, too!

Spring Siesta in the Park

The City of Orlando hosts its 27th annual Spring Fiesta in the Park at Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando this Saturday and Sunday, April 2-3. This family- and pet-friendly event takes place each spring and fall season and features art and entertainment perfect for everyone. While at this event, you can visit hundreds of original artists and craft vendors, food booths, and food trucks, making it something you won't want to miss. We also happen to think this is something everyone living in Florida should experience at least once. Have you been yet?

RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo

Returning for its second year in Osceola County, you can cowboy up this month during the RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo at the Silver Spurs Arena. The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) rodeo will feature five performances over four days, during which time the contestants will compete for more than $1 million in cash and prizes. This rodeo fun takes place April 7th - 10th, but will kick off with a Cattle Drive through Downtown Kissimmee on Monday, April 4th at 3pm.

Florida Music Festival 2016

At the Florida Music Festival and Conference you can experience more than 200 bands and music industry panel discussions throughout downtown Orlando. What you may not know about this festival, though, is that it has a history of discovering unknown artists such as Taylor Swift, and featuring headliners like Third Eye Blind.
