Have you noticed the change? The warmer weather is sneaking up on us as we say goodbye to winter and hello to spring. This time of year is one of the best parts of living in Florida, and the events on our calendar are just a few ways to get outdoors and enjoy it all.

Enjoy the Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival

If you enjoy Epcots® annual Food and Wine Festival, then you will surely love the International Flower and Garden Festival, too. The season of spring is showcased at Epcot® with fresh seasonal dishes and beverages at every stop, bright colored topiary displays (many of which are character themed) and beautiful gardens. The festival starts March 2nd and runs through May 30th. Visit during the weekend and you can catch the Garden Rocks Concert Series, complimentary presentations and take-home tips for the gardener in you.

Runaway Country Music Fest

If you're a country fan, and a concert fan, this is the event for you. This year the Runaway Country Music Festival has moved to Osceola Heritage Park, right here in our hometown of Kissimmee! The 3-day music festival will take place on Friday, March 18th and run through Sunday, March 20th.  The 2015 event was held at Wickham Park in Melbourne and drew fans from 39 states, 10 countries and just about every zip code in Florida. Besides the artists listed below there are plans for several bars and taverns and two after hour music zones featuring bands and DJs all night long.

Some of the headliners include Jake Owen, Kenny Chesney, and Eric Church along with many other top acts in the lineup.

Arnold Palmer Invitational Golf Tournament

The annual Arnold Palmer Invitational brings out some of golf’s greats for this premiere event on the PGA Tour. Once called the Bay Hill Invitational, it was renamed after the golf icon himself, Arnold Palmer. Arnie's Army Charitable Foundation, which supports Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, is also the charitable beneficiary of this event. The invitational runs March 14th through the 20th with varying ticket prices, find out more information here
