It's December and that means one thing—the holiday season is upon us. With that being said, we certainly aren't short on things to do around Central Florida this month. Grab your calendar and start filling it up!
ICE! Featuring the Nutcracker
An annual tradition at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center, ICE! is transformed this year with scenes from the famous ballet being featured in more than two million pounds of hand carved ice sculptures. While you walk through the chilly 9 degree ice story, you can slide down four ice slides, visit The Frostbite Factory (a live ice carving zone) and then warm up with hot cocoa afterward. This year you can also see performances such as "Luminescence," a live stage show featuring holiday music near the massive 54-foot-tall Majestic Christmas Tree at the center of the Resort. Holiday Events in Osceola County
With Dream Builders Realty being rooted in Osceola County, we couldn't share about all of the events going on in Central Florida without sharing about the holiday events taking place right here in Osceola County this month. From the annual Craft Show and Christmas Parade in St. Cloud to the Festival of Lights Parade in Kissimmee to the nightly snowfalls taking place in Celebration, you can certainly find something holiday related to do in Osceola County the whole month of December. Those are all well known holiday events in Osceola County, but did you know that Harmony hosts a Winter Carnival, too? It's a good thing that all of these events take place on different weekends because who wouldn't want to attend them all?!
Tuna Christmas at Osceola Arts
Looking for something fun to watch this month? Tuna Christmas, being put on by Osceola Arts, is about Christmas in the third smallest town in Texas. There are just two actors who portray all the men, women and children of Tuna Texas in this hilariously fast paced yuletide production (according to Osceola Arts!). This somewhat vague description makes it sound like this is probably a show worth seeing! Find out more here.
