It's December, and that means one thing — our favorite time of the year is upon us! With that said, we certainly aren't short on things to do in and around Kissimmee this month. Grab your calendar and start filling it up!
ICE! Featuring A Charlie Brown Christmas
An annual tradition at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center, ICE! is transformed again this year with scenes from the famous holiday classic, A Charlie Brown Christmas. ICE! features two million pounds of hand-carved ice sculptures, the Alpine Rush, Cosmic Snow Tubing, and more... all at a chilly 9 degrees! Don't worry, you can warm up with hot cocoa afterwards, though! This event is taking place now through January 1st. Find out more information and buy your tickets here.
Christmas Events in Osceola County
With Dream Builders Realty rooted in Osceola County, we couldn't share about all of the events going on in Central Florida without sharing about the holiday events taking place right here in Osceola County this month. From the annual Craft Show and Christmas Parade in St. Cloud (this weekend!), to the Festival of Lights Parade in Kissimmee, to the nightly snowfalls taking place in Celebration, you can certainly find something Christmas-related to do in Osceola County the whole month of December. It's a good thing that all of these events take place on different weekends, because who wouldn't want to attend them all?
Getting Festive at the Local Theme Parks
When you live in Central Florida, it's not uncommon to have passes to one (or more!) of the local theme parks. From Universal, to Disney World, to the newer Legoland attractions, each one of these boasts lots of holiday fun during the month of December. You can catch the Macy's Holiday Parade™ at Universal Studios or Grinchmas™ at Islands of Adventure and at Disney, you can join in on Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Don't forget to look into Sea World's Christmas Celebration or Legoland's Christmas Bricktacular, too!
We hope our list of Central Florida holiday events helps you find something new to add to your calendar this month! Check back next year – you know, in 2017 – when we'll feature more events around Central Florida!
