- Continued growth in Medical City is planned, from research to teaching to treatment – Lake Nona’s impact on Central Florida has already been substantial in the last few years, with no plans on stopping anytime soon.

Known as Orlando’s original airport, Orlando Executive Airport is located just three miles from the business and financial center of Central Florida. As of January 2015, there were 818 events planned with an estimated 11.9 million attendees booked through 2035. During this timeframe, these events will generate approximately $22.1 billion in economic impact.
