In honor of Memorial Day, I thought it would be beneficial to share our most recent certification.
The National Association of REALTORS® confers the Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification to REALTORS® who want to help military personnel and veterans find housing solutions that best meet their needs and allow them to take full advantage of their military benefits.
Homeownership is important to individuals, families and communities and ensuring homeownership remains affordable and accessible to veterans and active duty buyers and sellers is vitally important. When military staff and their families relocate, the services of a real estate professional who understands their needs and timetables can make the transfer easier, faster and less stressful. REALTORS® who earn the Military Relocation Professional Certification have displayed the desire and knowledge to work with active duty military buyers and sellers, as well as veterans.Being the son of an United States Air Force veteran and grandson of an United States Army Air Force veteran, I taught from a young age the great sacrifices made by so many who protect the freedoms of this nation. I was raised knowing how great our country is and was taught to appreciate the blessing of being an American, along with honor, respect, service and character. As a child I always enjoyed hearing about my Dad's time serving in the Air Force and have great memories of the time spent and lessons learned as we watched slide shows of his time serving overseas during Vietnam. My respect for my Dad, grandfather and uncles only made my understanding and appreciation of serving grow stronger.
It is a honor and privilege to serve the men, women, and families who have so selflessly served us as a nation. Further, when active duty personnel are called away to serve their country it is important they know their family is in a stable home environment. It is my desire to use my skills and expertise to help create such an environment. Earning the nationally recognized Military Relocation Professional Certification is just one way we can can do just that.
