Summer is here! Well maybe not technically, but the seasonal weather and the fact that most kids are getting out of school this week makes it seem like it has already arrived.
With summer comes many fun things to do locally, and we wanted to share three hot Central Florida events in June that you should add to your summer bucket list.
135th Silver Spurs Rodeo
Yes, you read that right. The 134th Silver Spurs Rodeo took place back in February, but June 5th and 6th present another chance for you to watch your favorite bull and bronc riding, steer wrestling and barrel racing from some of the country's best cowboys and top livestock. This is the largest sanctioned rodeo east of the Mississippi and is hosted at the indoor Silver Spurs Arena! What's even better about it this time around? They're kicking off summer with their first annual School's Out Blowout event where kids and their families can enjoy bounce houses, inflatable games and much more! Local Brews Local Grooves: The Ultimate Craft Beer & Music Fest
Hosted by The Jake & Elwood Blues Revue, this event is happening at the well-known House of Blues in Downtown Disney, featuring 10 Craft Breweries with over 20 craft beers on tap and local music all evening long. Doors open at 4 pm on June 13th and a variety of packages can be purchased, ranging in price from $5 for general admission to $55 for the Blues Brothers VIP Package. What are you waiting for? Beat the heat in June by catching a classic favorite at the Dr. Phillips Center. I Love Lucy® Live on Stage is a brand new stage show adapted from one of the most beloved programs in television history! You're transported in time back to 1952 and become a member of the Desilu Playhouse studio audience awaiting the filming of two hilarious and oh-so-familiar I Love Lucy episodes.
