Continuing with Osceola County, the place we call home, we are sharing the options out there when it comes to programs offered, and special features of the various local schools, to help you in your search for a new home.
Our first school highlighted in this feature was Celebration High School, located in the popular town of Celebration, Florida. Up next? Liberty High School, home of the Chargers!
Let's start with the school's mission statement:
"Liberty High School will ensure every student is successful in a safe and secure environment while acquiring the necessary social and academic skills needed to be lifelong learners, as well as competent and responsible citizens."
As far as bragging rights are concerned, Liberty students can earn an Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) Diploma from Cambridge University. This program is an international curriculum and examination system with an emphasis on the value of broad and balanced study. It offers students the opportunity to tailor their studies to their individual interests, abilities, and future plans within an international curriculum framework.
Liberty can also attest to being a solid B-rated school from the 2009-2010 school year to the 2013-2014 school year. Students have many choices when it comes to programs offered at the high school. Some of them include:
