3 Central Florida Events You Won’t Want to Miss in October

Posted by Tim Weisheyer on Oct 1, 2015 2:10:35 PM

It's October and that means it's time to kick of the festive fall season. This time of year is always packed full of things to do around Central Florida and with the hopes of cooler weather soon (hey, we can dream!) it makes attending these Central Florida events that much more enjoyable.

little shop of horrorsLittle Shop of Horrors at Osceola Arts

Osceola Arts, in Kissimmee, is proud to present Little Shop of Horrors on Fridays and Saturdays from October 23rd through November 8th. Well known by many theatergoers for more than 30 years, this show is about a nerdy flower shop owner who longs to win the heart of his co-worker, who only has eyes for a ruthless dentist. The plot thickens when a carnivorous plant comes into their lives, one that is hungry for blood. What a great time of year for this show to debut...

Partin Ranch Corn Maze

Returning for its second year, Partin Ranch Corn Maze is a family fun fall festival and corn maze that takes place starting October 3rd. It will run every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm. There are activities for the whole family to enjoy while there including a pumpkin patch, barrel train, ranch animals and more! The festival and corn maze fun will culminate on October 31st with extra festivities and kids in costumes will get in free!

Kissimmee's Annual Trick-or-Treat on Broadway

For those of you with kids  you can treat them to Kissimmee's Trick-or-Treat on Broadway on Friday, October 30th from 6-8 p.m. This event lets families visit the shops up and down Broadway as the kids trick-or-treat in a safe environment all while showing off their cute (and sometimes scary) costumes. Trick-or-treating will take place from 6-8 p.m. and a free movie showing will take place in Toho Square after all the candy has been collected!

Don't forget some of the events we mentioned last month, many of them run through October as well!
