It may be hard to believe that it's already September... but it is! While the daily temperatures still feel like summer, we will be ushering in the season of fall later this month. With fall comes a never ending list of events in Central Florida and what we hope to be the beginning of some more enjoyable weather. Ready or not, we’ve got a rundown of some of our favorite annual events to add to your calendar this September...
Epcot International Food and Wine Festival
Everyone who's anyone in Florida knows that Epcot is the place to be in the fall because this yearly event revolves around tasty food and drinks—who wouldn’t love that? Each fall, Epcot transforms its park to house dozens of unique flavors and fun experiences, as guests tour through over 25 global marketplaces. At each venue, you can purchase and taste-test culinary masterpieces, sip on unique drinks, and try desserts that are sure to leave you wanting more. There are also chances to sign up for culinary boot camp and other food-inspired demonstrations and seminars. This year they are also releasing more new experiences than ever before, making it an event you don't want to miss!
Southern Women's Show
This annual event, held at the Orange County Convention Center, features jewelry, handbags, make-up tips and tricks, gourmet treats, shopping, runway fashion shows, cooking classes and variety of speakers that will interest our local southern women. This year they are featuring a "Teachers Day" on Saturday, September 17th and a "Mother Daughter Day" on Sunday, September 18th. Magical Dining Month
Celebrate Orlando’s unique culinary scene during Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining Month that runs the entire month of September. During this tasty month, select Orlando restaurants will offer dinners for just $33. From appetizers to entrées to desserts, you're sure to leave dinner feeling delighted in your choice. It's a great time to get out and try something new! Another benefit of this event? One dollar from each meal will be donated to The Russell Home for atypical children.
