3 Central Florida Events to Add to Your Calendar in November

Posted by Tim Weisheyer on Oct 27, 2015 5:41:47 PM

Last month we shared all of the Halloween-themed events in Central Florida. What are we even more excited about this month? The cooler weather that November brings, the official start of the holiday season, and all the fun events these two things bring with them!

Fall Fiesta in the Park

Lake Eola Fall Fiesta in the Park

The City of Orlando hosts its 45th annual Fall Fiesta in the Park at Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando. With the tagline, "Creating community through art", this family- and pet-friendly event takes place each fall and features art and entertainment for everyone. While at this event, you can visit hundreds of original artists, craft vendors, food booths, and food trucks, making it something you won't want to miss. We also think this is something everyone living in Florida should experience at least once!

Osceola County Historical Society's Annual Pioneer Day

Pioneer Day

Take a step back in time when you visit the Pioneer Village at Shingle Creek for the 24th Annual Pioneer Day. You can take a tour through each of the historic buildings and hear the story behind them as told by the docents, who will be dressed as pioneers. While there, be sure to visit the kids zone where the littlest pioneers can hear stories, do "chores", and make crafts. There will also be live music, good food, and more! This event takes place on November 14th from 10 am to 4 pm.

Festival of Trees at the Orlando Museum of Art

Orlando Museum of Art Festival of TreesThis event is a great way to kick off the Christmas season. You can Jingle All the Way through the halls of the Orlando Museum of Art, which will be filled with extravagant, designer-decorated trees, breathtaking displays of wreaths, tabletop trees, gingerbread masterpieces, and more. Open daily from November 14th - 22nd, you can get an early start on your holiday shopping, visit a special children's area, and enjoy a quick bite to eat at the Festival Cafe.

Don't forget to check back next month for more fun to be had and other local events in Central Florida!
