At Dream Builders Realty, we know the importance of taking an active role in the community we serve. One way we do this is through the support of local education. Our series on school features shows exactly what this area has to offer when it comes to education.
This week we are featuring another local school, shifting gears from sharing about the high schools in Osceola County (don't worry, we have a few more to finish off the list) to focus on Bellalago Academy. This district-managed charter school offers guaranteed placement for grades K-8 to children of families who live in the community of Bellalago.
Let's start with the school's mission statement:
"Bellalago Charter Academy's mission is to achieve lifelong learning by exploring education that is anchored in excellence!"
The school strives to meet its mission each year by creating a challenging learning environment, fostering mutual respect, honoring diversity and establishing a safe, nurturing environment for their students.
At Bellalago Charter Academy, students can participate in a variety of fine arts programs including art, band, chorus, music, strings and drama. There is also the opportunity to join after-school sports programs.
The monthly parent newsletter features events that foster community; reading through it helps any parent realize the strong academic foundation Bellalago hopes to create for each and every student and their families.
Bellalago Academy has also received a Five Star School Award for exemplary family, school and community involvement from the Florida Department of Education.
