Each month, Dream Builders Realty shares the most up-to-date information regarding the Central Florida real estate market. These numbers are beneficial to you as a home buyer or seller because they provide insight on what is happening in the local market and can be used as a starting off point in your next big real estate adventure.

We hope our monthly Central Florida real estate market updates (including our May 2016 real estate market update where you can compare the previous month's numbers to this month's numbers) help with your real estate needs when it comes to buying or selling your next home in Central Florida.

The average median home price for Osceola, Orange, Lake, and Seminole counties in June was $201,662. This is a number that has continued to rise month over month since January of this year, making 2016 the ideal time put your home up for sale if you’ve been considering doing so. Something else to note is that this number is also significantly up from this time last year, with median home sale prices in Central Florida being 12.13 percent higher than 2015.

There are currently 11,295 active listings in Central Florida. This is the first distinct rise we’ve seen in inventory in the last few months, offering buyers a wider range of homes to choose from. The average days a home spends on the market in our area has also started to drop, meaning buyers are actively looking for their dream home and ready to make an offer and start the buying process the moment they find it. Sellers… get ready, your home could be next!
