Dream Builders Realty shares the most up-to-date information regarding the Central Florida real estate market every month. We do this for you, the home buyer or seller, to provide you with insight on what is happening in the local market. We hope you'll use this information as a starting point in your next big real estate adventure!

We hope our monthly Central Florida real estate market updates (including our market update from November 2015) help with your real estate needs when it comes to buying or selling your next home in Central Florida.

The average median price for Osceola, Orange, Lake, and Seminole counties in December was $183,737. This number continues to increase month over month and is up just over 10 percent from this time last year. Homeowners looking to sell will be happy to know that the median home price has been steadily increasing as well.

There are currently 11,632 active listings in Central Florida. This number is again slightly under last month’s total inventory of homes in part due to the increased amount of closed sales in December. Fewer homes on the market also means a higher demand on the available homes for buyers.

Median Sales Price (% change since previous month)

Orange - $205,000 (+6.77%)

Osceola - $167,950 (+2.41%)
