Median home price was up throughout Central Florida in all four counties compared to this time last year. Lake County, Osceola County, and Orange County saw double-digit increases in closed sales compared to June 2017. Lake County had the biggest increase in median home price at 17.9%, followed by Orange County with a 10.2% increase in median home sales, and Osceola County with a 10.0% increase year over year. The real estate market is highly active this time of year. Three of the four counties saw an increase in closed sales compared to this time last month, with the biggest in Orange County, which saw a 3.7% increase in closed sales. There are plenty of homes still on the market with Central Florida having 9,704 active listings.
