Osceola County and Seminole County saw an increase in median home prices compared to July, and median home prices were up significantly throughout all four counties compared to this time last year. Osceola County experienced the biggest increase in median home price with an 11.6% increase compared to August 2017, followed by Seminole County with a 9.4% increase year over year. Osceola County and Lake County saw an increase in closed sales compared to last month and a significant increase in closed sales compared to August 2017. Lake County saw the largest increase in closed sales year over year with an 11.8% increase, while Osceola County experienced a 10.2% increase in closed sales compared to August 2017. There are plenty of homes still on the market with Central Florida having 10,119 active listings.
